The Guide: Basilica of St. Servatius

On my quest to explore more places in Maastricht I came across the Basilica of St. Servatius. It is located right near the Vrijthof, but can be somewhat hidden and therefore overlooked. While in Rome I stumbled into a bunch of beautiful churches and so I thought it would be worthwhile to do the same here.

The basilica is quite gorgeous inside, and pretty interesting from the outside. There were wonderful stain-glass windows, amazing tiling and the small museum inside had some cool artifacts. If you want to more historical information about the basilica you can go to the Wikipedia page here.
